Hodgdon CFE BLK Smokeless Powder 8lbs

The CFE BLK Powder spherical propellant is designed expressly for the 300 Remington AAC Blackout cartridge and meters very accurately. CFE BLK contains Hodgdon’s Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time.

This powder provides full function in modern sporting rifles throughout a range of bullet weights and is perfect for subsonic loads. In addition to working well in the 300 Blackout, it performs well in many smaller capacity cartridges such as the 17 Hornet, 17 Ackley Hornet, 218 Bee, 221 Fireball and many more. It also yields top performance in the 6.8 Remington SPC and the 7.62X39 mm Russian cartridge.

Shortly after World War II, the AK-47 was designed, later becoming the world’s most wide spread military-pattern rifle. The cartridge remained the Soviet standard until the 1970s. It was largely replaced in Soviet service by the 5.45×39mm cartridge, which was introduced with the new AK-74 rifle, and continues in service with the modernized current-issue Russian Armed Forces AK-74M service rifle, as well as the AK-12 rifle. In the 21st century the 7.62×39mm remains a common service rifle chambering, including for newly developed rifles like the AK-15.
